Not Getting Results? What You Can Do:
- Are you taking enough capsules per day? Some people need only one, others need up to six.
- Are you dividing the doses between morning and night? This avoids any stomach upset, and "pre-loads" your body with magnesium before nighttime.
- Are you taking it with food? This also prevents stomach upset.
- Are you taking medications like blood pressure meds or statins? These can cause cramps. Talk to your doctor about lowering your dose or trying a different medication.
- It is possible your cramps are caused by low sodium and/or potassium. The easiest fix is to eat more salt, and more fruit and vegetables. A good way to get both is to drink some vegetable juice (V8) especially at night.
- Does your doctor not want you to take the product? You may consider getting a second opinion from your pharmacist. Sometimes doctors are very dismissive of natural remedies. Your number one concern to be safe with your current medications, which your pharmacist can help you with.
